French’s cooks up a new flavor innovation every National Mustard Day.
After the “WTF?” success of Mustard Ice Cream and Beer, we aimed for a “why hasn’t this always existed?” reaction in 2021
by baking French’s Mustard Buns.

We activated in five major cities, where folks got to try our buns at some of the most iconic hot dog-eating spots in the country:
from Yankee Stadium to Santa Monica Pier.
Mustard lovers could also bake their own buns at home. Social ads led to our recipe and campaign sites.

We also wrote and designed press kits for journalists and influencers.
A proud moment was concepting the bunvelope: a 3D-printed envelope shaped like a Mustard Bun.
